Yoga Bindu

Rosie Good Umaña, owner and director of Yoga Bindu, is certified in both Hatha and Kundalini yoga and is greatly influenced by the work of Yogi Bhajan. She has been a student of yoga for over 20 years. Rosie's teaching focuses on pranayama (breathing awareness) and moving the body to the rhythm of the breath.
Hatha Yoga is a combination of postures, breathing exercises, and other techniques to promote flexibility, build strength, reduce stress, and bring the body, mind, and spirit into balance.
Kundalini is an intense practice to stimulate the nervous system and bring deeper awareness of the body's electromagnetic field.
Rosie says: "My wish for Yoga Bindu is for you to discover through practice the path to nourishment, strength, happiness, prosperity, and healing: healing of diseases and dis-eases, physically and emotionally, healing from loneliness, labels, and fear. I want Yoga Bindu to be seen as a gathering place where we are all welcome and 'everybody knows your name.'
