Four Seasons Yoga

March 14, 2005 the doors opened to Four Seasons Yoga Studio thanks to Sean O’Shea! He wanted to touch as many people's lives as he could by teaching and sharing Yoga. Since his passing in December of 2006, Sean O'Shea's legacy continues through the work of the Sean O'Shea Foundation. Jenny and James Bouwer became the owners in February 2008. They are excited to carry on the dream by doing what they love, teaching yoga, and growing this awesome community that's been growing since 2005.
Jenny was introduced to yoga during college and she immediately connected to Yoga’s healing benefits. After ten years of practice and study with Tim Miller of the Ashtanga Yoga Center, she began teaching and volunteering yoga classes throughout San Diego. Jenny is the founder of Karma Yoga San Diego a San Diego based nonprofit organization devoted to the yoga of service. Jenny is also a managing partner in the Ashtanga Yoga Confluence, an annual meeting of the students of Sri K Pattabhi Jois.
James, Jenny's husband is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego. Where he recieved his PhD. in Physics. He is currently doing research at the National Center for Microscopy and Imaging Research, where he serves as principal instrumentation developmental engineer. James spends his time developing technologies used by bio-medical researchers to explore and model the 3-dimensional microscopic ultastructure of the brain and the nervous system. His many other passions include surfing, skateboarding, playing and recording music, and of course practicing Yoga!
Our intention is building on a wonderful community that has been growing since the seeds were planted in 2005. Both on and off the mat, we invite all of you to join us.
