Dharma Yoga Long Island

I signed up for a 2 hour inversion practice with two instagram "celebrities," hosted by this studio. IT started at 1pm on a Saturday, and I went to the address on the website 5 minutes before 1pm. To my surprise, the fine print on the flyer found within the website was for a studio 25 minutes away. Ok, it happens! I wasn't thrilled, in fact I was pretty bummed I would be missing it. But there was no phone number to call - only an option to e-mail on the website to contact the studio. I wrote it right from my phone at 1pm explaining my disappointment and just asked them to please call me. Monday morning I wrote a follow up email from my personal e-mail and my work e-mail. No answer. Followed up Wednesday... finally I get an e-mail back. Basically the email stated we will not be refunding your money because you waited two days to ask for it. Two days! That is pretty efficient in my business. However, it was inaccurate on their part because I assumed they would respond immediately to my e-mail, as any business would if they were hosting an event at a different location then that in which they normally host. I responded to their e-mail a few times and asked for them to call. I received one call.. returned the call MANY MANY times and now they just want to avoid me. I wouldn't give this business another $ of my money. Yoga is not a business to eat away your money and be rude and disrespectful and unhelpful. I guess everyone has the right to define their own ahimsa.
