Akasha Yoga
Welcome! Akasha Yoga offers a variety of all levels yoga classes designed to provide a vigorous work out while improving strength, flexibility, balance, mental clarity and focus. The practice of yoga is an individual journey and we are all starting from / coming from a different place. Let the practice be yours. Take each posture only to the depth that feels appropriate for you each day. Remember that even day to day your body and mental state fluctuate and this impacts your practice. Some days you may be able achieve new depth and the next...no so much...it's all good! Be kind to yourself, always practice with respect for your body and embrace challenges with an open heart!
In our Hot Vinyasa classes you will 'flow' from one posture to the next using the breath as the link. In our Hot Hatha classes you will hold a posture for a set period of time and then relax for a brief moment before starting the next posture. Both classes invite new and experienced students. Our newest class style, Sumits Yoga, is a blend of the other two styles.
