Hot Yoga Tallahassee

Hello Yogis! I want to personally thank you for your interest and support of our studio. I am a certified E-RYT 200 teacher with a background in Barkan Method Hot Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Sculpt & Meditation. I opened Hot Yoga Tallahassee in September 2010 with the hope of expanding the hot yoga community here and guiding souls on their path to health and happiness. My first yoga experience was with Bikram yoga in 2007. I was a trained professional dancer for over 15 years and had acquired my fair shair of injuries and bodily damage. My aches and pains were immediately lessened with hot yoga, something inside of me changed instantly and my life has never been the same since. My life, relationships, body, health, & mentality saw miraculous improvement. I received my 200 hr certification from Jimmy Barkan in July 2010. I then received an opportunity to teach some classes in Tallahassee and see if there would be an interest--What was intended to be an experiment , resulted in a dream come true. It has been the wildest of rides watching our studio transform into a loving, healthy atmosphere and I am eternally grateful to my family, friends, and our community for making Hot Yoga Tallahassee what it is. Thank you from the bottom of my yogi heart!! I hope you will join myself and all of our wonderful teachers for some hot yoga and good times!

My yoga journey began as YMCA fitness instructor nearly a decade ago when I started teaching yoga and pilates as a way to explore my own practice. Over the years I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with many inspiring teachers who have guided me on this path. The style of yoga I teach stems from the traditional Ashtanga practice and is a fusion of vinyasa flow and power yoga. While I always strive to challenge my students to go further in their own yoga exploration my class is still suited for all levels of yogis. I believe that this beautiful practice should be accessible to everyone. I’m so grateful for this new chapter in my journey and look forward to sharing this experience with all of you at Hot Yoga Tallahassee. ~*namaste*~
