While yoga classes are great to attend in that they build a sense of community and offer you the opportunity to learn from and with others, it can be difficult to address your specific needs while practicing within a large group of students. Private yoga sessions offer the ability to work one-on-one with an experienced teacher, who can focus every minute of the class on you and your desires for your yoga practice. A one-on-one yoga session can help you quickly get to the next level in your practice. In a group setting, the teacher has to keep an eye on and correct the entire class, which can be a LOT of people for one person to look after!
