Welcome to Sound Mind & Body, Milford's most diverse holistic fitness studio. Our programs include a wide selection of group classes, including dance fitness, cardio, weight training and personal training. We also offer nutrition and weight loss counseling as well as special workshops and events in various disciplines and movement forms on an on-going basis.
We welcome men and women of all ages and levels of physical fitness, with an emphasis on working within one's own range of physical comfort and pleasure. We wish to make our movement classes desirable and accessible to senior, disabled and otherwise inactive people who want to enjoy the benefits of a healthy, supple, flexible body. We also endeavor to provide alternative ways of moving to students with high levels of physical fitness, as well as athletes wishing to improve their performance in their own sport.
Our programs are varied, but the goal is the same: to nurture and restore bodies, soothe minds and inspire spirits of those ready to awaken to a greater level of health and well-being through movement. In an open community of kindred spirits who come together regularly to dance, sweat, learn, play and meditate, we are continuously amazed by ourselves and each other.
Our comfortable 1700 sq. ft. studio is conveniently located at Boston Post Road and West River Street. Ample free parking is available. We operate much like a dance studio in that we are only open during our class times. If you would like to stop by the studio, instructors are available a few minutes before and after class. Otherwise, the best way to talk with someone is to leave a phone message or use email.
