Bonnie Anthony has been teaching yoga since 1973 and is a founder of Iyengar Yoga in Southern California. She has served on the Board of Trustees of the Southern California and National Iyengar Yoga Associations, as an assessor for Iyengar Yoga Certification, on the staff of the 3-year Yoga Training program of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles, chaired the 2nd North American Iyengar Yoga Convention in 1990, and conducts workshops in other states. Bonnie holds a Senior Intermediate Iyengar Teaching Credential.
Linda Nishio has practiced yoga for over 12 years. She has studied with Bonnie since 1995 and previously in Northern California with Senior Intermediate Iyengar teacher, Elise Miller. Linda holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree, is a professional artist, owns a graphic design business and is an art educator. Her perceptual acuity merges naturally with the attention to detail found in the Iyengar tradition.
Our teachers continue training by attending conventions, and travelling regularly to India to study with B.K.S. Iyengar, his daughter Geeta, and son, Prashant.
