Yoga Tree Of Evanston
Yoga Tree of Evanston, the only Iyengar Yoga studio on the North Shore, is located on the 2nd floor of the Lake Street Church (Room 205). Our fully equipped center offers several 90 minute classes weekly, taught by certified instructors. Yoga Tree was the brainchild of Lake Street Church member Sarah Hanson, a long term student of Iyengar yoga. Her goal of spearheading an exclusively Iyengar yoga studio was achieved, in partnership with the church, in 2002. Sarah transferred the management of Yoga Tree to Patrina Dobish in 2007.
We are now in our 8th year of operation! For this good fortune, we are thankful for the lineage of our esteemed teachers, the support of the Lake Street Church, and for the dedicated community of student practitioners that continues to grow around us.
