The primary yoga styles practiced at Yoga Del Mar are variations of HATHA yoga: ANUSARA —An uplifting practice that integrates principles of alignment with yoga philosophy; FLOW —A faster moving vinyasa style class; and PRENATAL —Stretching & breathing. Cultivates strength, flexibility and relaxation. Suitable for all trimesters.
We also offer Iyengar yoga classes and workshops taught by Roger Cole, Ph.D., an internationally acclaimed yoga teacher who is based in Del Mar. IYENGAR is a systematic practice that emphasizes precise technique of postures with detailed alignment instructions and corrections.
