"I want to show you something that helped me get thru prison" one of my brothers said to me, after serving two years in Ft. Leavenworth prison for having been a conscientious objector to the Viet Nam War. Wavey Gravey said he was a hero. He was 22 years old and I was 26. I have continued practicing yoga and teaching anywhere and anybody from family and friends, to county recreation departments, at my own studio, and most recently Elderhostel programs. It has been my daily prayer for every unsung hero or heroine for almost 45 years.
