Pranayama ~ Ayurveda ~ Yogi ~ Author of Supreme Breath: Yogi Breathing to Access Higher Life Force Energy.

Passionate about helping people feel and look vibrantly healthy, happy and eternally radiant. I have taught yoga and pranayama for over 17 years and am certified at the advanced expert E-RYT 500 hr level by the National Yoga Alliance. My specialty is helping people make small, easy to manage adjustments in their lifestyle to make very positive shifts in physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. Everyone I work with learns pranayama, yogic breathing, and we build upon the foundations of ayurveda, yoga and universal wellness principles. Whether teaching a group yoga class, working with those affected by compromised health, leading a seminar on ayurveda and balanced lifestyle choices, or facilitating pranayama and meditation, my focus is the same:
helping you look better, feel better, and live better.

I work with individuals and groups, and teach workshops as well as studio classes. I help health, corporate, spa, wellness, education and industry professionals create, customize and implement yoga and yogi breathing programs. I train people how to teach yoga and pranayama and I design and write wellness curriculum for a broad range of settings.

I hold a BA in Education from Ohio State University (I completed my undergraduate studies at Montana State University) and MA in Educational Technology from Barry University (Miami, FL). I have over 25 years experience in the fields of education and training. I worked for over 8 years as a Corporate Executive for a national professional certification association. After successful careers in teaching and corporate leadership, I followed my inner guidance to study classical yoga. While studying yoga and pranayama, I blended yoga and my life-long hobby of design and sewing and created and manufactured an organic line of yoga lifestyle apparel, Kaivalya Absolute Freedom. The apparel line was named after the 4th chapter of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Kaivalya, the ultimate goal of yoga, in the sanskrit language, is a universal concept which translates as "absolute freedom".

My path in yoga, ayurveda and wellness has led me to seek out and learn from many contemporary, internationally-known Master Teachers. I have studied extensively with, and am eternally grateful to Shiva Rea, and to Dr. Swami Shankardev Saraswati of the Bihar School of Yoga (Satyananda Yoga). My teaching style and methods are also influenced by Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri), Dr. Robert Svoboda, Erich Schiffmann, Gurmukh Khalsa, Hari Jap, Bhavani Maki and Rama Jyoti Vernon.

When I am not writing or teaching, I enjoy my two children, create wood fired ceramics, travel, garden, hike, cook, sew, and simply breathe!

Thanks for being here! I'm looking forward to helping you look and feel vibrantly healthy, happy and eternally radiant!
