RYT 500, certified in: Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative & Senior yoga.
Other skills include: licensed esthetician, Reiki practitioner, dōTERRA Wellness Advocate, and currently working toward certification as an Ayurveda Health & Wellness Counselor.
Formerly a ballet & modern dancer, I began practicing yoga in 1999. Throughout my yoga journey I have studied & practiced: Bikram, Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yin & Restorative yoga.
I've been teaching private, corporate and public classes on the Peninsula for two years.
My classes are fun, intuitive, thoughtfully sequenced and well balanced, with an emphasis on breath & alignment to encourage students to develop a safe, sustainable and transformative practice.
I teach challenging Vinyasa, healing Hatha flow, nourishing Restorative & Yin yoga classes to all levels and ages. My teaching is inspired by my own therapeutic practice, which I use to build energy, heal injuries, restore balance and connect more deeply to myself, others, and to the divine.
My goal as a teacher is to perceive and teach what my students need. To me yoga is much more than just the asana practice. It is a lifestyle, including all 8 limbs, which leads to greater self love, freedom, health, happiness, contentment, peace, and bliss.
In addition to being a yoga teacher, I am a seeker, student of life, world traveler, free spirit and lover of: peace, beauty, freedom, grace, love, wellness, authenticity, laughter, music, art, fashion, dance, animals, travel, the great outdoors, and all goodness.
Prior to my life as a yoga studio manager and teacher, I enjoyed, for many years beautifying the faces and lives of women, of all ages, as a professional freelance makeup artist, licensed esthetician, personal stylist, and cosmetic spa/boutique manager.
