Mindfulness Yoga combines meditative practices with physical asana practice.
We use guided meditations to explore our ability to bring the mind into the body. We cultivate an accepting and warm-hearted curiosity towards ourselves and our individual experience so that mind, body and heart can be present together.
We learn to sense the physical body with clarity and sensitivity and to skilfully use yoga postures and movement to enhance our over-all health and well-being.
I trained in Mindfulness Yoga with Jill Satterfield of Vajra Yoga and Meditation. Jill Satterfield is also the founder and director of the School for Compassionate Action - an organisation providing yoga, meditation and education for communities in need and those who serve them.
