Workshop - Finding Ease in Down Dog:An Exploration of Adho Mukha Svanasana

Description

Practiced all on its own or inserted as a transitional posture in a sequence, Adho Mukha Svanasana helps you get from the ground up to standing and back down again! Although the pose seems relatively basic, it is anything but. Wrist and shoulder pain, tightness in the hips and legs, and fatigue can all make Downward Facing Dog challenging for many people. In this workshop, we’ll explore both the physical alignment and the energetics of the pose. Using props and specific yogic techniques, you’ll discover various ways to prepare for and find ease in your Dog Pose. Leave with a better understanding of the posture and how it can be modified to suit wherever you are in your practice. Open to all levels.
