Workshop - Introduction to Flow Yoga

Description

Flow yoga is the linking of breath to movement. Each inhalation and exhalation accompanies a specific movement or brief hold of posture in a way that feels fluid, almost dance-like. Each pose flows into the next with smooth transitions that naturally link them together in a creative sequence. Just as Pattabhi Jois described Ashtanga Yoga as yoga mala (a garland of yoga), flow yoga links postures in a meaningful and accessible way. Come learn the basics of this powerful and dynamic approach to the yoga practice. There will be time to ask questions. A solid foundation in Level 1 is recommended.
