Workshop - Yoga for Chronic Pain
Description
So many of us suffer from chronic pain: back, neck, shoulders, fibromyalgia, and more. It can begin to feel like life becomes just about managing that pain and making do. This workshop will teach you simple yogic techniques such as gentle movement, breath work, and meditation that will take you beyond this, allowing you to find ways to befriend your body and your pain. We will explore the difference between chronic and acute pain, the relationship between chronic pain and chronic stress, and yogic perspective of uniting body, mind, and spirit.
