Vinyasa Yoga and Aerial Fabric come together Aerial Yoga Teacher Training. Either choose to deepen you Aerial practice or develop your teaching skills for Aerial Yoga. Reaching Treetops Aerial Yoga teacher training is a certification program that blends the beneficial elements of traditional yoga methodology with the unique conditioning of aerial arts. Reaching Treetops Aerial Yoga is designed to incorporate the balancing and stretching components of yoga with the strengthening and exhilarating components of aerial arts.

Reaching Treetops Syllabus
4 days, 32 hours, roughly 8:30-5:30, with extra day for tricks and flips
Thursday, Day 1
@) Beginner class
Talk about Fabric, daisy chain, single point, double point, carabineers, hammock set up, knots, weight limits, and hand holds, how to structure a class
Work on starter moves
Seated series, Bucket, Cat cow, sitting in loop, standing in silks Chair, Volcano, Forward, volcano
Lunch
Work on opening sequences
Grounding poses; Leg swings series, Leg series, Shoulder stretch, Hip Hangs, pulling taffy
Warrior and runners; Crescent lunge Warrior 2/3, Side angle, Half moon, Dancer,
Sun salutations sequences

Homework you and a partner will come up with your own opening sequence at least 10 poses

Friday Day 2
@) Class: straddle back, gazelle, side x, hip hinge, swan, down dog with leg wrap, tree, coffin,

Talk about hands, bruises, hand stretches
Poses: Straddle back, gazelle, forward fold, leg wrap, standing half-moon, splits in silks
Lunch
Poses; side x, swan, down dog, tree, coffin, hand stand, Baddha Konasaana, wrapped Manta Ray, Tree,
Standing X, Manta Ray, Big Toe Grab, Angle 1, 2, 3, Bow, Supported Bow
Home work, you and your partner
1) Come up with 4 different sequences that have at least 4 asana that can be linked so the feet do not touch the ground
2) Come up with two different sun salutation sequence
Saturday: Day 3
@) Class: manta ray gazelle, coffin, side x, flipping backwards to silks, tree, big toe grab

Sticky hands
Strength: forward flip, back flip
Lunch
More Strength: key hole, Arm hang Pike, Inverted Arm hang pike, pole dancer, arm straight inverted hand stand , inverted handstand with back bend.
