Workshop - Healing Low Back Pain

If you have lower back pain or lower back pain has you, sign up for this workshop. It is for you. These are the exercises I have used to heal my back pain. We will start with breath flow and why it is important to integrate breath and movement. Next, we’ll work on lifting the pit of the abdomen and rooting the earth energy of the body. Finally, we’ll integrate these principles into the Morning Series (to help the fibers of the muscles open and prepare for movement), the Hip Series (to help open the muscles that often pull on the lower back and distort it), and the Lower Back Series (which is very effective in releasing muscle spasms). This graduated approach from the simplest exercises to more complex series is a logical and proven method of relieving lower back pain by aligning and strengthening the spine. Although some sequences are more therapeutic, they benefit all who practice them, giving relief from pain and tension in the lower back. The workshop will include some basic anatomy and several handouts. It is best if you know what is causing your pain and can tell me. Limited to 23 students.
