Description

Connect with your innate maternal wisdom as you learn techniques that facilitate natural childbirth. We will practice ways to keep the mind calm so that your body will be able to birth more easily. Partners will learn simple, hands-on techniques to provide support during the miraculous process of birth.

This workshop approaches labor and delivery from a yogic perspective, but no previous yoga experience is necessary. Dress comfortably.

You will learn: A variety of simple techniques that facilitate natural childbirth and release tension and fear, ways to alleviate back labor, the importance of birth planning, how your baby travels through the pelvis and into the world, how partners may provide physical and emotional support during labor, what to expect during the labor process, and much more…
