Join us for this Sunday Series class devoted to backbends! In this 4-week class we will explore the anatomy of backbends, how to hone in on the source of correct actions, and how to skillfully apply this knowledge into practice.
Backbends are the Yogic antidote and cure for the hunched modern life style. They expand the chest, massage the heart, tone the spine and keep the body alert and supple. Great vitality, energy and a feeling of lightness are some of the benefits of a regular backbend practice.
Backbends delight the Yogic heart as they open up the anatomical heart and lung center. Ancient sages of Yoga teach us that the true light of inner wisdom burns bright, but rests hidden deep within our heart.
