Workshop - Ashtanga Yoga De-Mystified

Description

Have you done a little or a lot of Ashtanga, but you’d like to go deeper into your practice? This three-hour workshop is for you!

We'll discover ways to access the benefits of the practice safely, with special attention to breath, bandhas and dristi. We will delve into vinyasas, jump-throughs and jump-backs, and arm balances. We'll also address memorization and meditation, and how they tie in to Mysore-style Ashtanga.

No prior memorization of the Primary Series is required, though it will be helpful to have taken at least one Ashtanga class. Bring your questions!
