Teacher Training - Unifying Practice: Module 5 of What Meditation Really Is
Description
Settling the mind might sound easy, but sometimes the mind is stubborn, inflexible and completely unwilling to settle. What we need is a variety of methods that we can apply skillfully when we want to transform our mood and
enter meditation.
This is where the unifying practice comes in. The unifying practice is a powerful and highly effective combination of three well‑known methods of meditation, each of them complete in their own right. The particular significance of the unifying practice is that when these methods are practiced in sequence, they work on the three levels of body, speech and mind.
