Teacher Training - 25-Hour Rasa Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Jamie Lyn Skolnick

Description

Restorative yoga is the yoga of non-doing or un-doing. The practice focuses on effortlessness and ease, using well-placed blankets, bolsters, yoga straps, and chairs to safely support the body and breath into relaxation and ease. Rasa is a Sanskrit word that is defined as juice, flavor, or the essence of one’s heart before it receives impressions from experience. This practice awakens the deepest layer which is the body of bliss!

This 25-hour intensive will equip yoga teachers of all traditions with a comprehensive understanding of a restorative practice. It will give teachers the tools and knowledge to teach a primary series of 10 basic restorative poses to group and private classes with confidence through direct experience, feedback and practice teaching. We will address modifications, how to sequence a balanced class and the Koshic model of body/mind relaxation.
