Workshop - Yin Yoga Immersion
Description
This weekend intensive is suitable for those who want to teach as well as those who are simply interested in deepening their understanding and practice of Yin Yoga. Both days will be a combination of delicious practice, foundational theory, and questions.
Over the course of the weekend we will cover the physical and energetic details of Yin Yoga. This includes a basic understanding of the poses as well as their specific effects on the emotional, mental and physiological aspects of our being. We will look at the subtle body (chi/prana, the meridian system/nadis, and chakras). Interwoven throughout the weekend will be the essential practices of InnerYoga - awareness, kindness and breathing – as well as mindfulness meditation. We will explore the benefits that an InnerYoga approach can bring to any Yin Yoga experience.
